AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

My dearest readers and followers,

Today, it is with great pleasure and a little bit of regret that I announce the beginning of the end of Creative Structures. I say this because it has been a pleasure for me to grow here for the last two years, with you supporting and often guiding me. The blog has enabled me to express so much of what was going on inside of me to an outer audience, it has given my creativity the chance to flourish.

But I have outgrown Creative Structures. It's a blog about too many things. The art and recipes get mixed with the culture and the philosophy; there are too many categories. Creative Structures was a learning ground for me about blogging, and I have learned so much indeed.

I am ready to take my blogging into a more professional area.

So, today, I am announcing the start of two new blogs:

Piemontescapes - a blog about Piemonte, its food, its wine, and its culture. My goal is for Piemontescapes to be a complete guide for the region, and I will grow it, story after story, with links to the best supporting blogs for Piemonte, and for all of my Italian regional friends who host, plan trips and are experts on their particular area of the country. I will be including winery visits, recipes, restaurant reviews and other topics of interest, all revolving around this wonderful region.

A Certain Simplicity - it is here that you will find all of my writing on creativity, innkeeping, art and reflections on the life I live. I will grow it with links to my lovely creative friends all over the globe who have given me so much inspiration over the last two years on my hill.

These two blogs are both in their infancy stages, and I am working feverishly on getting them looking and feeling as perfect as possible. Please come over to one or both and subscribe and comment. I would love to see you there.

You are the most important people to me. It is for you that I started this blog, it is because of you that I continued it, and it is you that I thank from the bottom of my heart for so often making my day by stopping by and giving me ideas, encouragement and your time. Creative Structures has been a very, very special place for me.

Thank you, thank you.

Love,

Diana

Congratulations Diana on this big move to a more professional blogging area :-)

I am going to do my best to get to grips with changing, I hope I succeed. Otherwise I am just going to put a help request out to anyone in the UK.

I love our blogs.. as you know, so now my blog roll is updated, don't want to miss out. :-)

I loved Creative Structures. I loved the mixed content and never knowing what would come next. I'll miss that, but I am sure I'll love your interesting new blogs, as well.

The Diva approves of change!

I admire how hard you work and have no idea how you make time to do it all. But do it all, you must and you do it all well.

See you in a few weeks.
xoxo

The beauty of blogs is that they evolve--I can't wait to read your two new ones, and I hope that TMFP makes it onto your blogroll. :-)

It's nice to have some discipline to focus you, but then it's also nice to break those rules too--it definitely keeps things interesting. And if you need guest bloggers, you know who you can call! :-)

Sounds like an exciting new adventure! I somehow stumbled on your new Piemonte blog today and wondered what was up (don't even ask me how I found it - it was an ADD adventure). Good luck with your new blogs! I hope this blog won't disappear completely.

i hope creative structures will be online for awhile? i've only read parts & hoped to read more.

looking forward to the creativity blog. & hope you haven't thrown away that novel you started . i about shrieked when i saw you'd started one. i'd love to read yr fiction--yr truth's been wild enough! i have one of those novels too...my MFA thesis (lucky for me i didn't have to finish the novel to graduate). you might recognize bits i gleaned & fictionalized from the college days. GOOD LUCK with the new venture! Kim
