A wonderful photo, you both look so happy. I think your gratitude fridays are brilliant..life has been a little bit tough for me this week and part of the year, but I am getting there. I struggle inside, jittery and sometimes lonely, I really don't know if it is just my menopause giving me unsettled feelings or circumstances surrounding me. I will get there, but I am grateful that I am not ill, and that all my family are well and happy.
Thank you Anne. Menopause is about as unsettling as it gets -- and if there are other circumstances thrown into the formula it can be very overwhelming. Take care of yourself. As hard as it is to do, it is the most important thing you CAN do for yourself. I am learning this myself. No matter who understands or doesn't, if you are not well, nothing else is worthwhile. So DO take care of yourself. :)
What a good looking trio! You really do have a lot to be proud of.I too, think your Gratitude Fridays are wonderful!Have a warm and cozy weekend!
What a fabulous photo! I want to thank you for all your posts and your insight on life and sharing your ups and downs. You have an incredible way of putting it all in perspective and it makes me stop and think about what I'm feeling and what is really important. Gratitude Fridays have really been a bright spot for me during a time that has been incredibly stressful. Grazie!
Janie put it so well -- you, through sharing your story (and sharing it so articulately) help give a lot of us out here perspective. And I'm grateful for that!I'm grateful I was able to honor my Grandma at the service for her in a way that conveyed to our family and friends back home how much she was important. I'm grateful to my brother for having the courage, through his own tears, to read that tribute, and for the love for that grandma that those tears showed. And finally, I'm grateful that my crazy cousin's wife, daughter, and he himself came on at the end of the service up to the speaking podium to send me a surprise "hello" that really caught me by surprise as I watched the video of the service. It was hard not being there, and I am grateful that my family thought of that and reached out to me in a unique way!!Okay that was longwinded but it's been a long week. : ) Thanks for your kind words.
Thank you everyone. You are wonderful and have lifted me up! I will continue trying to express my thoughts through this blog and welcome your comments and thoughts. Peace to everyone.
you are beautiful, beautiful people. Inside and outside.
Letizia, Grazie. Ti voglio bene.
Great photo. I think it's great your dog is included, as our pets really help us when things are tough through their undying devotion, love & support.
I love the photo of your family...thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. Janie was so right when she said you have a way of putting everything in perspective...happy weekend!
I love your photo!
Hi Diana, I have been reading your blog for quite some time and it has become one of my favourites. One of the things I have noticed and have come to admire is how you and Micha work together as a team. The photo you posted shows how happy you truely are living your dream together. And I think Letizia said it best ... 'you are beautiful, beautiful people. Inside and outside'.
BTW, I didn't get the chance to post anything for Gratitude Friday last week. Kids kept me busy as usual. :-)
