Disaster Averted. On to Flight Prep

Well, everything is still standing.   What a feeling.    So I guess I can make like a banana and split.

Time to prep for the next disaster in waiting:  the swine flu, for which the European Union has put out dire warnings to stay away from the USA.

Or is it just a media disaster?

In any event, you have to be prepared for coughing, spewing seat mates these days.

Excellent... good to see that you're packed and ready to go. This rest will do you good.

I look forward to seeing you over here on this side on the pond... get in touch when you're settled in. Safe journey...

who would have thought you'd have so many entries in your 'that which does not kill you makes you stronger' category?!!?

Love the photo! Where did you find it? Have a safe trip and a fabulous time in the US.

So sorry to hear about all of the rain and all of the frustrations with your construction project.

I think it is silly at this point for Europe to be worried about visiting the US. I can see Mexico, but the US is HUGE and the amount of cases so far is like a needle in a haystack unless you go to the few places where there have been a higher number of cases.
