Always Check and See How Far You've Come!

Top: Small kitchen in the main house, before and after
Middle: Living room in the main house, before and after (I am getting ready to remodel this again)
Bottom: Guest suite living room before and after

It's always important to see how far you have come... we can get blinded to our own successes if we don't consciously look back and take stock of all of the things we have accomplished.

I love before and after photos, so here are just a couple of mine. I have a lot more where these came from!

Celebrate yourself and your own creativity -- and remember to take pictures!!

Great post topic!

Your place is just beautiful!

I was actually thinking of something similar as I was browsing my photos of our house when it was newly constructed in 2005 with nothing but scraped ground around it with no garden.

That is so true.

As the year closes out instead of only focusing on the things I need to do, I will also look at what I accomplished in 2008.

I love before and after photos too.

Oh my, what an improvement! It's a good thing that you had such foresight.

I'm catching up on my blog reading ... the before and after pictures look amazing! You and your husband are doing an excellent job. You're right that you need to look back once in a while and see what you have accomplished. It's such a wonderful feeling!
